I was afraid you'd say that. Have to be in the right frame of mind to allow yourself to experience those kinda films.... they're mind fuŁks of the highest order. Can't help but admire them though.

Shooting Fish - the best con man film ever!

The Women (1939) - wasn't under rated at the time but now there is a new version watch the old one first, starring all women, written and poduced by women (I think!)

High Fedelity - only cause I adore John Cusack!

Best 1980's Teeny film was the Breakfast club, most underrated was Say Anything, starring John Cusack! It worth watching because of his monologues!

Watched Rob Roy again the other day and was reminded of how badly it was overlooked in it's day becuz of the exposure Braveheart was given. In my opinion Rob Roy is a far superior film with some wonderful performances. Could watch it again and again.

I'd go along with you in saying it's hugely underrated and is actually his most mature film in alot of ways.
