I think it's because it's become more about personalities last few years. That's not always a bad thing because for a long time we've basically had a conveyer belt of dreary technocrats in positions of power who all blend into one. Now everyone wants to be the next Trump and thinks they're the best person to do it

It's not known if the allegations against Lowe are true yet.
That will be known in the future.

The current chairman of Reform doesn't come across as someone who couldn't deal with a bit of threatening.
IF that ever happened.

I can't stand Reform or any of their MPs.

However my own opinion would be that dealing with Farage would be as much a nightmare as trying to deal with or reason with Trump.
Narcissistic Farage doesn't come across as someone who'd tolerate much in the way of being challenged, being disagreed with or talked back to.
He usually thrives anyhow only on being divisive and creating distrust and suspicion about others, especially of other Countries and cultures.

Sorry to burst people's bubble, but there is no way Nigel Farage will be Prime Minister. Ever. He's in his 60s now, almost 70 at the next election.

He's an old guy. America like electing geriatric Presidents, but not in this country. Even Starmer at 62 is pushing is luck.

But yeah, I've never got this Farage is a big political player thing. And charismatic? Not really. He comes across to me as your boring uncle. A big mouth yes, but nothing else.

There were five MPs in Reform, now only four. Their next 'conference' I here will be held in a London taxi, with still room to spare for the driver.

Doubtful that their next conference will be small. They have twice the members the Cons have... More probably. The only people making statements like yours are people who've never supported them. If you want to know how popular they were at the last election don't look at how many MPs they ended up with, look at how many votes they got.

labour aren't doing anything that will stop the rise in reforms popularity at the moment. We live in very uncertain times, so i wouldn't dare speculate on how the next few years will pan out. The threat of war can change everything

I actually think they will do well at the local elections.
Local elections usually go against whoever is the government of the day.

The Lib Dems were riding high in 2010, with 23% of the vote in the general election.
They were in government in coalition.
Then in 2011 they were near wiped out in a good number of councils.

The local elections always normally have extremely small turnouts.
They aren't the best indicator of political standing, they can be one indicator but not often reliable.

In local elections, Independent candidates win in good numbers, even deciding who runs a council and sometimes running councils themselves.
However in general elections they get nothing like the support they get in local elections.

So with the Cons still in disarray, with a sadly poor leader like Badenoch who just is more running after UKIP MK3 ( re-Reform).
Then Labour looking at this moment in time as being hell-bent on ensuring Labour themselves lose the next election.
Sounding more like the Cons than anything Labour.
Plus the LibDems still really not moving much as to votes, since crashing in 2015.

I'd expect in that scenario, that Reform SHOULD do extremely well.
They should be able to clean up across the Country and they may well do so, who knows.

I personally hope not and will hate to see it because I wouldn't trust Farage and this his latest evolving of UKIP ever, not a chance.
Reform are NOT a new Party, They are UKIP under Farage MK3, the Brexit Party was UKIP under Farage MK2.
They're still the same, just seeking to create suspicion and distrust, even from probable prejudice by only being divisively destructive.

The fact that the vast majority of their councillors are only there because they defected rather than be elected
