The fact she is on front pages doesn't bother me. If anything, it's a tiny bit more promotion for Big Brother.

HOLD THE FRONT PAGE:

NHS cuts?
University Fees?
The Economy?
The Crisis in Europe?
The war on terrorism?

HELL NO

Some mediocre actress has split up with her husband because of her constant affairs and drunken antics, and instead of crawling away to avoid any further embarrassment to her family, insists on grandstanding on national television, thus resulting in her pointless, futile life being worthy of front page coverage

The 2nd para of that particular paragraph that I bolded above shows that you completely contradicted yourself in saying that you don't agree with cheating.

Get an opinion one way or another rather than covering all bases - otherwise your diatribes are a meaningless barrage of empty words.
Surprise, surprise, as per usual you've completely missed my point...or rather, chose to ignore my point and bypass everything, instead reverting to recycled rubbish that you've already posted that doesn't actually invalidate anything I've said.

I made clear in my post I was referring to people's problems with single people who sleep around, calling them things like 'slags' and 'sluts'. It was a totally separate issue to the thread in hand, but related in some way, and so that's why I brought it up. I clearly stated that married men/women, or those who are in relationships that cheat - are quite rightfully in the wrong. But you don't seem to have noted that part...which of course isn't at all surprising.

There is no real reason as to why people (single people...yes, just to make sure that's clear) cannot sleep around, and why if they do so they're labelled with such ridiculous names. Because let's be honest...what exactly is the problem with it, I mean really? What is it? Once again...this isn't about married people, or those in relationships (I hope I've made myself clear now) who cheat - as obviously then there's a problem. But it's about single people, and why so many people have such a problem with those who sleep around.

I have an opinion, and it's not 'covering all bases'. It's a clear division between single people and those in relationships. That's not difficult to comprehend.

Another diatribe, you're very good at them I must say.

You missed the point again. Denise was MARRIED when she was knocking about. It isn't rocket science. ~Well, not for the average person to understand.

To be totally honest i have surprised myself at my own reaction to this woman, wether its some deep seated resentment issues from my childhood, aspects of myself i dont like..what ever it is this persons behaviour jars with me, the whole jeckel and hyde aspect to it, the air of respectability she has conflicts with what we saw in the house. Not to mention the media circus that she is ringmaster of right now.
I am usually level headed and i dont take people at face value, but im really struggling to see one single positive to this person.

And you're very good at completely ignoring any valid points someone makes, replying with a few lines of recycled, devoid rubbish that really, has no relation to anything the poster said. It's all a game of avoid-being-proven-wrong and you excel in it. Perhaps there are degrees available in it that you could take up?

Well...considering the title of this thread, and what she said on Loose Women, it doesn't seem that way to me. It seems that she was separated from her husband when she was 'knocking about'. Not that that has anything to do with the main things I said of course, but why I expected a coherent reply that actually had some relation to what I posted, I have no idea...I should have known what to expect.

That, is my perogative.

See that's amusing because I'm definitely not the only one to have made the same point to you in the past, and you and most others are quite aware of this. Deny it all you want Pyramid, but you know you do it and pretending that you don't isn't going to change it.

Let's be honest here...the real reason isn't that you find them 'pointless', it's just that when someone confronts you with some reasoned, valid arguments you crumble and so instead of attempting to construct some form of coherent counter argument, you resort to extracts from Pyramid's Book of Avoidance Catchphrases and churn out some of your classics like 'I have a right to an opinion'. I don't think I have ever witnessed you actually attempt to counter argue properly, you attempt it but as soon as someone makes a point that you find difficult to argue against, you give up and return to your wonderful world of avoidance techniques.

Nah. I just find your posts boring and full of nonsense. You pay little heed to what others actually say a lot of the time - I'm simply returning your own behaviour.

Opinionate away till your wee heart is content. I still won't agree with you. That's ALSO my perogative.

Quite. And let's be honest here: she certainly went out of her way on CBB to give over the impression that she was a happily married woman, in love with her wonderful husband etc. She certainly went to great lengths to hide the fact that she was in fact, not happily married - nor even living happily.

Some of us on here sussed that out long ago.

Besides: some on here clearly aren't aware of her autobiography written not too long ago in which she revealed she was knocking about previously when she WAS in the throes of marriage.

This has to be one of the most misinformed posts of the day

It's funny that you say that, considering every single argument you, or any other person ever presents me with, I attempt to deconstruct and counter argue with valid, reasoned and coherent points. There's occasions where I can't, but I don't then turn to avoidance techniques, I step back, admit I'm wrong and apologise. Why do it any other way? That's the entire point of debate, but if there ever comes a point where you're unable to justify your point, chances are you're wrong, or there are loopholes in what you're saying. It happens to most of us, it's just a case of whether you can admit it when it happens or not.

The amount of times I multi-quote your posts and scrutinise every part of your argument, only to receive a barrage of bypassing, regurgitated one-liners in return is unreal. I'm not the only one to experience this with you, and you are fully aware of that.

The reason you won't agree with me is because you're incapable of responding to valid points that destroy anything you've said. Again, that's not 'disagreeing', that's bypassing...and quitting. So yes, that...what I have just described, is your prerogative.

You paid 50p too much! lol.

Only kidding.

Enjoy it - it will be interesting to see what you think - but bearing in mind, it is 'bias' given that it is 'penned' by Denise herself so to speak.

I don't recall Tim being on CBB and making out to housemates and the viewing public that he was in a very happy marriage, had a wonderful woman at home etec, - did he make an appearance and play act and lie his way through CBB?

Can't recall seeing the clips of Tim on Loose Women either telling all....I must have missed those bits.

No Jack. Saying I am finding your posts boring - is factual and subjective. Not baiting.

No Pyramid, it's more avoidance techniques and inadvertent baiting.

You're only 'bored' because you have no way of responding and denying my (and others) claims. You are fully aware of how you conduct yourself in arguments - it's only once you've been called out on it that you mysteriously shut up shop and claim you are either 'bored' or once again 'entitled to an opinion'.
