Rihanna has confirmed the third single will either be S&M or Cheers as they're the two that fans want the most and she's going to let fans choose.

Two weeks after topping the Billboard Hot 100 with "What's My Name?" (featuring Drake), Rihanna returned to No. 1 on the chart released Thursday (Nov. 25) with "Only Girl (In the World)," the debut single from her new album, "Loud."

It's the first time in Hot 100 history that an album's debut single reaches No. 1 after the second single does. "What's My Name" dips 7-8 on the Hot 100, though it does take the Airplay Gainer for a fourth straight week. "Loud, meanwhile, debuts at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

"Only Girl" is Rihanna's fourth single to ascend to No. 1 in 2010, making her the first female, and first artist overall since Usher in 2004, to hit the top that many times in a single calendar year. Rihanna also moves to the forefront for most No. 1s in the millennium (since 2000), as "Only Girl" is her ninth track to lead the list. She had been tied with Usher for the past two weeks, with eight chart-toppers since 2000.

Rihanna has reportedly been left "fuming" after Brit Awards bosses ordered her to tone down her planned performance of 'S&M'.

According to The Sun, the Barbadian singer is now threatening to scrap her "raunchy" show at Tuesday night's ceremony in response to a request that the she change the controversial song's scandalous lyrics.

A Brits insider claimed: "Rihanna is fuming about the situation - and it’s left Brits bosses in a panic over what she will do on the night. She believes she won’t do the song justice if she has to change the lyrics and it’s a breach of her artistic integrity.

"She may scrap performing 'S&M' altogether now and choose to do a ‘safe’ pop number to keep the prudes at bay."

Rihanna recently expressed her anger at Radio 1's decision to rename her song and censor particularly risqué lyrics.

The 22-year-old's highly-sexualised X Factor performance in December sparked over 4,000 complaints to Ofcom.

Glad she's performing S&M, well I hope she still is, I read earlier she's thinking of changing it because she's fed up with all the controversy. I really don't see what all the fuss is with that song and video, I've seen much worse videos and the song is hardly offensive, the word sex is apparently censored on UK radio. How come Sex On Fire wasn't then?

There have been whispers that Rihanna is already working on her next album. Now Ryan Seacrest confirms reports that the red-haired diva is back in the lab with a new project due later this year.

RiRi, who is currently making her way around the country on her “LOUD” tour, has plans to release her sixth album this fall. It would come as no surprise as she has put out six albums in the past six years, with her most recent project LOUD still spawning hit singles.

Seacrest spoke with the singer’s camp and made the announcement on his KIIS FM radio show. “We can confirm that Rihanna is currently working on material and will release a brand new album this fall,” he said.
