Annalize's edit is the biggest misstep this season because she clearly worked her ass off during the tribe swaps to get in tight with Werner's Bus/Mafia/whatever. That's probably the most impressive non-Werner move of the game, because by all means she should've been taken out in that Vusi-Chane-Palesa slaughter. She worked her way into the majority by her own accord. Tom just got dragged along bc he was so annoying that no one on his tribe liked him.

I just found those who hated Tom really annoying, Chane probably the most annoying contestant on this season. Sunbathing on the beach and calling others leeches. And PK was just a wind up merchant. The better people like Werner and Jeanne actually appreciated what Tom brought.

I would disagree and thought Palesa, PK, Chane the most likable. Whereas Jeanne was extremely annoying, much alike Tom. There is a reason the majority of people didn't like either of their personalities

There was no majority against Tom that I've seen, we just had loads of confessionals from Chane,Palesa, Vusi. Others, of those who actually knew him on the show, didn't hate him at all, Toni is another of them. Even Palesa admitted (something I had already considered) that she was against him because he was similar to her in wanting to be in control and being forthright.

No they didn't lol, they were transparently using him just to pad their voting numbers. Jeanne confirmed as much with her absurd arrogance that Tom would willingly be voted out in 5th place and ultimately just be grateful that they ragged him along. Werner too, ever since the merge episode his entire attitude was "Tom's all alone and looking for somewhere to shack up so I'm going to use this to my advantage."

Finally watched the episode and man that was exhilarating. Annalize definitely deserves the win despite what some people argue because she really is Danni Boatwright's South African relative or summat. That being said, I'm almost expecting the completely absurd Tom/Jeanne F2 with Tom coming out on top which like... I'm not particularly a Tom fan but I never hated him like the people on Palesa's dick did, and Tom winning would be a hilariously disastrous ending that I wouldn't be able to help but enjoy it.

To be quite honest I watched the majority of that episode on 2x speed to get it over with as quickly as possible, but Annalize is #winning

That ending I'm not even mad about it bc it's hilarious and I never hated Tom. Like who cares if he came for Palesa? They had a fun rivalry and he wasn't evil or anything, just an old school Survivor villain.

That being said, he's possibly the worst winner of anything ever in terms of being ~deserving~ sooooo I'll just wait for the starrynight dissertation about how I'm wrong and how Tom played a masterful and deserving game despite being the island's most annoying person from Day 1 to Day 39
