with all honesty if they can promise/deliver us a good worthwhile watchable line up i am in for a ''stripped back'' strictly series this year (i mean lets dance was also worth still watching every minute despite no audience, and had most viewers than ever in their history of the show, and also a very watchable, likeable bunch of contestants)


Katie would make people not tune in, so she would not be a good option for this year


we need all 15 contestants to be likeable, watchable, good fun overall

also it can work with social distancing, given contestants are only with one dance partner, and BBC can also replace some of regular audience seats with benches for couples instead of clauditorium (and Claudia more being up there with one couple only each time when they get scores) that is how they do it in Germany with Victoria Swarovski in her victorium with one couple each time for the scores

and most contestant clap for each other, so you'll still have some form of applause (and fake applause too i guess but i guess that comes in handy for the atmosphere) no audience makes you focus more on the performances, makes them more intimate than usual

no group performances is also nice, just 2 or few couples doing demo's of a particular dance

so all i say is be open to a stripped back strictly option, and keep dancing

If they can cast someone as vile as Saffron Barker(not really known herself) then Katie Price should be fine.

At least the 10 million viewers will know who Katie Price is and you can't say the same about that tiktok star who is rumoured.

i also had seen a rumour from that one Escape to the country gal Nicki Chapman, i would love her on the show (my parents love her too) despite her knee injury thing, but i'd still want her to give it at least a go
