The genre selection of the finalists is even more diverse than in 2020 and you can look forward to everything from very "artsy" ballads to very hard guitars and everything in between

Bulgaria Intelligent Music Project ''Intention'' song release on December 5th

The Intelligent Music Project have confirmed that their song for Eurovision 2022 “Intention” will be revealed on December 5.

Bulgaria’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 is set to be revealed on Sunday December 5. “Intention” will be played for the first time on BNT’s morning show, Denyat zapochva s Georgi Lyubenov (The day begins with Georgi Lyubenov).

Speaking to Darik Radio, the group explained:

The song raises the question of each of us’ personal inner struggle with outdated patterns of faith and behavior that pull us back. There is no safe area. There is a useless existence. Finding the right path, however, is a battle, even a war with oneself. Serious intention is needed to win the good!

Our first artist is a pretty unknown female rap singer. She has around 5000 monthly listeners on Spotify, but she has already made it to various Czech music charts = likely someone unknown who hasn't got much or none of a insta fanbase due to her yet soo new career

Next up is a duet! A very famous Czech female icon will pair up with another extremely famous Czech male icon and together they will sing a ballad with hints of pop. = Dan Barta & Marketa Irglova (not much of a fanbase on insta but both quite the icons big name material)

Our third artist is a male singer who has already represented (or at least tried to represent) us at Eurovision before. He is pretty famous in the Czech republic and in the Eurovision community. = Albert Cerny (as part of Lake Malawi)

The fourth singer is a famous female singer, who has won a famous Czech talent show. She has released a lot of songs since then, and rumours say she has already applied to ESCZ before! = Tereza Mašková (biggest insta fanbase out of the 7, 134k)

Our fifth singer is an underground indie pop female singer. She has roots from Russia and she's currently living in the United Kingdom, but the Czech republic has always been her true home. = Aiko

The next singer is a pretty famous male pop singer. He has already competed in ESCZ before, but this year his song will be completely different! = Jakub Ondra

And finally, our last singer is an experimental indie rock female singer who hasn't released any songs before this contest. But chances are you've already seen her on your TV screens! = some unknown new talent without a instagram account probably
