I agree, Let Lineker have his say. And if he has his opinion on Twitter then that should be OK.
But if Katie Hopkins has her opinion on Twitter then she should be silenced and banned, have her house taken away, fined, threatened and the authorities should think about taking her kids from her. We should have different rules for different people. Last edited by Alf; 09-03-2023 at 02:43 PM. |

Everyone so defensive, because supporting the targeting of minorities is ok, but admitting it in public still seems to hold some shame for folks. Weird one to understand. Folks should be proud of what they believe. Stand ten toes down, chest out and back yourselves.
Germany in the 30's was a weird place where anything that strayed from government propaganda or was subversive in any way was banned, and if people don't have the right to speak out against their government - which is the most basic of rights in any free and democratic society, then we're edging a lot closer to the mid to late 30's Germany. They get you piece by piece; remove a freedom of protest here, blame minorities there, and pretty soon we edge a little bit closer, and each time it picks up a little more support, because when it's blasted into your eyes and ears everyday by a "free" press that acts as a mouthpiece for the government, then we're exactly where I said we were heading a while back. They never stop with attacking migrants. they're just a shiny object to keep you entertained whilst your freedoms, rights, and living standards are stripped away to the point where the country and it's political parties now agree that anything better is radical, subversive, and unattainable.

No way does slamming any minority on tibb get you infracted or banned these days, unless you're using certain words or directing it at other members.

Do you see all the other countries in the World that protect their borders as horrible people or just British, Americans and Europeans? Do you put, say, the South Koreans, just to name one of many countries that like their borders protected, in the same horrible bracket as you do the countries you attack the most (UK, US, Europe)? The countries that actually have been diversified because of their tolerance. |

One would hope that if say Alan Shearer had tweeted "Great to see the UK Government get tough with illegals. Its time to stop the boats and clear out the hotels and start deporting illegals"
The same people would be supportive of his rights? that would happen right? |

He'd then have to go to GB news to find employment. And rightly so, he shouldn't be allowed to have the same privilege as Lineker if he thinks diffentley. We can only have one way of thinking if we're gonna reach the dream. |

![]() I always thought he looked a bit strange, too. Yet some women thought he was very good looking. His brother looks weird too.

Why should he apologize though? It's his opinion and he has the right to express it, just like these people have the right to disagree with his opinion.
When did common sense start to die?

The precedent has been set. First they came for Tommy Robinson and we said nothing Then they came for Katie Hopkins and we said nothing Then they came for Matt Le Tissier and we said nothing Now they come for Gary Lineker. Next they come for us and there's nobody left to fight for us. We were warned that this was gonna happen. It was all good when they cancelled people we disagreed with but now the reality of tyranny is hitting home. Last edited by Alf; 10-03-2023 at 01:46 AM. |

Matt Le Tissier is an ex footballer that expresses political opinions on twitter. He also worked in the same field as Lineker, football punditry. He was at Sky sports.
Le Tissier doesn't work in that field no longer. He was shown the door during the Black Lives Matter international riots. He wouldn't get on his knees, so he had to go. He was punished because he put principal before a pay check, that's just the man he is, he did that throughout his playing days too when he stayed loyal to the club that gave him his opportunity. He has my respect for that. Last edited by Alf; 10-03-2023 at 12:17 AM. |

Andrew Neil showed little impartiality in his views when he was with the BBC, but I don't see any right wing pearl clutchers have fainting spells about him.
This story just proves to show how whipped and trash this country has become. |

I guess the government attacking Lineker, helps detract from the deceitful figures that vile Braverman used to scaremonger and fuel more hate and divisive attitude against those Human beings who are migrants.
