Season 6 was the best series surely? I've seen every season apart from Allstars which I'm currently watching, but Season 6 was brilliant it had some of the best housemates ever in Janelle, Howie, Kaysar and James and then it had a proper group that everyone hated in the Nerd Herd. It was the most divided house in BB history and every comp was tense, it had great tasks, great arguments and great fun. And probably the best finale night even though the final two were crap, but the live crowd was great, especially their hate for the Nerd Herd and love for Howie, Kaysar and Janie.

BB2 is a close second, followed by BB3, but in terms of an all round season I have to give it to BB6. Worst series are BB4 and BB5..especially BB5, crap twist and a lot of dull housemates apart from Jase, Diane and Nakomis.

I didn't like BB5 either. In BB6, even if we had some of the best housemates, sometimes it was boooooring. And I don't even talk about both the final 2 and the winner.

Maggie who ? I only saw her for the finale, because for 12 weeks I haven't seen her at all lol

Yeah Janelle, Kaysar and Howie are those houseguests who saved the series.

And series 7 was not entertaining at all, only Will, Janelle and Chicken George were funny.

Wasn't BB6 one of the most popular series ratings wise too? I'm guessing it would have been even better to watch it at the time it was airing because America seemed to get really involved with it, I know the forums absolutely detested the Nerd Herd.

I'm currently watching All-Stars and I'm really liking it, it may not be quite as entertaining as other series but it's great having all the best players in the house interacting with each other. Although why Boogie and Chicken George ever got chosen to go back is beyond me.

I can see there being about against BBUSA and BBSpain to produce BB10 first as they both premier around the same time

I think this is how the ratings did (don't have anything in front of me to confirm, but this is what I think it was)

Most watched

Big Brother 3
Big Brother 4
Big Brother 1
Big Brother 5
Big Brother 2
Big Brother 6
Big Brother 8
Big Brother 7

Although I know that season 7 did a little better then usual with the demos of 18-49. Big Brother 1 rated quite strongly actually and as far as I know Big Brother 2 was the most watched finale.

http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/r...demos-3599.php That article says that the BB6 premiere got 8.47 million viewers which is really good but down on the 90 minute BB5 premier which got over 9 million.

But those are pretty high ratings, I always assumed that hardly anybody watched the show but I suppose it would've been canceled by now if that was the case.

That's the full video for the All American Rejects song that's been used for BB9. It's quite good and they all have different secrets held up on the cards, so if the producers are going for something like that then it could be like that 'secrets' twist from Secret Story.

I absolutely cannot wait for this new upcoming early Winter season of Big Brother. It seems the twist is everyone has a secret in the house. America's Player will not be returning as an element of the game.

That seems exciting isn't it ?? I'm glad America's Player will not be returning because it was good only for a series.

Really I thought big brother 5 rated extremely well, although it did have to air against the Olympics. That was quite a busy summer for me trying to watch the Olympics and also all the big brothers. It's gonna be that way again this summer and having no life. Could you give me a link to survivor sucks' page that says that?

So I did some searching and from what I could find BB8 did 4% worse then bb7 did for the season, so I don't understand how bb8 rates highest, perhaps in the demos, but I would really like to see the link.

Didn't BB8's rating increase nightly? I'm sure they rose from week to week, that could have something to do with it.

Found the ratings for BB8: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Brother_8_%28US%29 near the bottom of the page.

BB9 may only run for 6 weeks!

Quote:
18. Big Brother (CBS, Feb. 12): Because the writers' strike rages on, the Eye net has prepared a winter edition of this summer reality staple. Rumor has it that this ninth edition may run just six weeks, instead of the usual three months. Casting is currently under way!
http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristi...7-0608b941a082

That would be crap, 6 weeks isn't long enough to get a good game out of the housemates.
