Ginger Jen - Vile as ever.
I do think Sir Alan made the right decision though.

An interesting show. Not for Simon being fired but because we got to know some of the candidates a bit better.

Sir Alan was right to fire Simon although Clare definitely dodged a bullet. Simon was responsible for the task he over spent, showed poor leadership, lost it at vital times and lost money. It was never in doubt he was the prime candidate for the chop.

I want to discuss Lucinda. I can see why the others dont like her, she doesn't seem to be able to do anything - not being able to use a mobile phone is ridiculous- but more importantly she doesn't even want to try. I felt sorry for her after ginger Jenny's attack but now I'm not so sympathetic. It may well be that Helene put Lucinda in charge of the technical side in order to stitch her up but Lucinda's lack of enthusiam is totally unacceptable in such a small team. I was stunned by the comment she made about the technical task being outside of her skill set. The Apprentice is a show where the most versatile, adaptable and enthusiastic candidates progress the furthest, Lucinda doesn't show any of those qualities. She's the polar opposite of Simon. Where as Simons wants to get stuck in and get the task done she wants anything but that. I see why the others are trying to stitch her up. I reckon that whenever Lucinda is on the losing team whoever is PM will take her into the boardroom to face being fired. I dont see her lasting much longer.

Simons comments about Alex were also quite interesting. He said, on you've been fired, that Alex was one of the few who could play the Machiavellian game. Bear in mind that the show was recorded last Summer/Autumn and the fired candidates probably know who won. I wonder......

Hmm, I do like Lucinda, and I did agree with her. If your team leader, you want to make sure everything is going smoothly and that there are no mistakes because it will catch up with you in the boardroom if you loose. Helen putting Lucinda in charge of the technical side of the task was clearly the wrong decision if she wasn't comfortable with it. But she did get on with it after some moaning. Helen's team was lucky to win, because if they lost it wouldn't have been pretty - I'm telling you.

Really good episode overall. I'm starting to like it more now. I prefer last series though.

I agree Mark but the fact that most of the candidate want to stitch her up tells me that the problem lies with her and not with them.

On the subject of Clare. She definitely dodged a bullet last night. I'm glad Sir Alan is going to make her PM for the next task as she needs to know what it's like. I think Clare has complained about every single one of her PM's so far. Often she complains even if she has no idea of how well the team has done. Its time for her to show us what she can do instead of bitching about everybody else.

Yeah, that's true.

I thought he was going to kill Claire. I would never be able to face him again if he shouted at me like that. She just smiled when he shouted at her, LOL.

If it was a competition to find the nicest contestant, then Simon should have won. But it isn't - and I think Sir Alan was right to fire Simon. Lovely guy, but....he just wasn't up to the job.

And I'm sick of Lucinda - what exactly can she do? So far, she has seemed totally incompetent at every task she has been given. That's not to say that Helene wasn't stupid in insisting that Lucinda do the computer work - but honestly Lucinda just seems hopeless.

I think Alex and Raef both stand a chance of making it at least into the final. They seem like the strongest contenders, although this week wasn't Alex's finest moment.

She was project manager in the first week, and did a pretty good job, I think...she won and I don't think anyone thought badly of her managing skills *shrug*

I think it's between her and Lucinda. As I said before, if Lucinda is on the losing team, I think she'll face Sir Alan every time.

Simon was the right person to go I think, he wasn't a very good leader and he messed up the task I thought. I think Alex could win it and maybe Lindi she seems to be pretty strong.

Lindi?????

Lindi is without doubt one of the most stupid contestants that has ever been on the show. She may well go farther than she deserves to though, as most of the girls seem oblivious to her blatant tactic of sucking up to the project manager.
