Been playing games for 26 years and its better now than it has ever been with game production.. Yes many have sold their souls during the way but them little basic games are still here.. Plus I do myself tend to look back and remember the magic.

As for the Nintendo Wii... Vile! Great for the mass middle class that hate games..

Mass Effect 2 - I LOVED the story to this game (plus all the choices I made in ME1 being followed up in this one)

Silent Hill Homecoming - Havent played it since last year, so I'm giving it another whirl

Resident Evil 5 - Helping my brother

Forza Motorsport 3 - Racing xD

I still enjoy Tomb Raider's on the PS1.. The graphics and sounds make it so gripping.

Ghostbusters on Xbox 360

It's decent, but it's only 8 hours long and sooooooo linear. Normally I don't mind getting my hand held by a game if it keeps up the pace, but it feels a little suffocating in this game.

The voice acting, courtesy of the original cast, is top-notch, which I expected, but the script is not up to scratch with the movies. I was a little perturbed by Peter Venkman's lecherousness around his 21 year old love interest. I realise this is in keeping with his flirtaciousness towards Dana in the movies, but at least Dana was his own age and you could understand their connection. It just felt out of character.

I quite like how the combat (which basically plays like a third-person shooter) never gets too repetitive and there is always some new technique to learn and the enemies and levels are scary and imaginative. The weapons are simply awesome.

It gets a 7/10 from me.

I have given up a little on games, they are becoming very samey.

Need for speed i have played once and i got it for christmas..
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 i have completed, but not played online..
Assasians creed i played like 3 times and got a bit bored.
Football manager 2010 played a few times but that bored me quickly to.

Its terrible, i think it because i dont have a lot of time no more. Ill get into them again.

Don't judge the wii on it's casual games, when you get to the REAL games it's as much a contender as the other two.

Theirs a few artsy single player classics you can actually get into, then it's all either ~family fun time or games made for competetive nutjobs who take themselves far too seriously online.

I loved the days when gamers played games. Now everyone plays games. I hate it .
When Online works it's magical but most of the time you'll always be put in a game with annoying children or people with some serious issues.

Started GTA 4 all over again on Monday, this time without cheats. Not doing too bad.. well there are 2 or 3 missions which actually seem impossible to do without cheats.

How many classics have Nintendo churned out for the gamers this time around? ... that don't involve the same old characters?

Word. Grand Theft Auto IV is painfully slow and repetetive compared to Saints Row 2. And I can't be a spliff smoking transexual tazzing people in the tits in GTA.

SR2 > GTA IV.
