Doesn't really, 8, 8, and 7 in his last 3 seasons. I like him and he's obviously a decent player for teams like West Brom and Hull who will only really be expected to stay in the league, but for a team that should be coming in the top half he isn't good enough. Not for £12m at least.

Won't happen anyway. Would genuinely git be shocked. He's the prototype second striker LVG loves(started every pre season game until injury). Energetic,Solid link up play, runs through walls for the team and is tactically intelligent. Sir Alex trusted him time and time again in big European or Prem Away games to fulfill specific tactical instructions defensively from his position and he would excel every time. LVG would love that in him I imagine.

I think the best thing for him would be to leave in fairness and to become a regular starter. He won't have the Sturridge effect from being a regular starter as he just isn't that type of ruthless player, but he would really excel starting regularly and being the man. Selfishly I hope he stays put though

Viktor Fagerstrom: Is it true that LFC have enquired for Falcao, Benzema AND Cavani? And that we ran into dead ends in all three cases?

James Pearce: LFC have certainly aimed high with enquiries for all three of those players you mentioned but they were told none of them were available. The problem at this stage is that there isn't a great deal of choice left. Rodgers won't just spend for the sake of it and could even wait until January if the right deal can't be done.

Samuel Eto'o would be an absolute last resort and I'd be surprised if that one happened. The club are currently looking at other options. Bony continues to be linked but LFC aren't planning on going back in for him.


James Pearce: If the right one can be found Rodgers will sign another keeper before the window shuts but I'm not aware of any interest in Romero.

We have so many injuries & have lost the likes of Vidic, Ferdinand, it's like we are trying to throw top four away before the season even starts.

Probably made inquiries. Just not successfully. Woodward is a twat.

And in order to obtain a fee Khedira, Spanish newspaper AS believe Real would be willing to accept just £8m before the end of the transfer window.

Never gonna happen, but he'd be a bargain for us at that price... if the fee is true.
