The fact Gary actually considers himself friends with pretty much all the HMs yet all of them bar Frenchy,Audley and Edele couldn't give two ****s about him says it all about the difference about how Gary treats people and how people treat him.

I know it made me so sad when he was asked who he was friends with in the
DR and he listed loads of people including Stephanie. He must be so confused when she makes snappy remarks at him if he thinks they're friends.

It also shows that Gary is happy to be friends with lots of people, where some other hms in there seem to like having somebody to hate.
