Well the ratings are going to plumet in the US now. Nobody is really going to care without of the suprise of Sanjaya surviving over and over.

This probably the worst season of AI thus far. AI5 will always be the best. TAYLOR HICKS/DAUGHTRY FOREVER!!!!

There is a God afterall, i'm so glad he's out, he really was diabolical last night, i cringe through most of his performances.

Once again, Jordin was great, i really hope she wins it. Melinda is great too but as Girth said, Jordin is the more 'fitting Idol'.

Blake is boring me lately, i never remember him, i can't remember anything about his performance last night.

Highly unlikely, not everyone was interested in Sanjaya and this season is much the same as a lot of others and the ratings for them will proably compare with this series.

Are you kidding me?? Sanjaya News was MASSIVE in the United States. On every single news station 24/7. Without a villain/antagonist the show gets boring and the ratings drop. There is no more excitment now that Sanjaya is gone. This season has been terrible anyway, they should have just let the worst singer win.

It's happened numerous times, When Jerri got voted off Survivor 2, when Scott Savol got voted off AI4, when Jase got voted off BBUS5.

The season is terrible, and the ratings WILL drop, guarenteed. There is no one else on the show who striked as much interest as Sanjaya did.

I meant not everyone watching was just watching for Sanjaya, the shows had much the same ratings each season without having a joke contestant staying a long while.

It's almost near the end and there's still some good and interesting people left.

I loved Lakisha on Friday, she was definatly my favourite. Jordin was bad but it was expected, and i still want her to win.

I was gutted Phil went, he was my favourite after Lakisha on Friday. Didn't care much for Chris or Blake.

Melinda was good as usual. Is Blake now the only guy left in the competition?.

Edit: I've just checked and he is the only guy left. I wouldn't have a problem with him winning it. I think Melinda is definitely the best all round vocalist but in terms of an idol Jordin will probably be the winner.

This season seems quite like season 3 with only one guy left at this stage and 3 female singers.

I think Lakisha was proably the weakest this week, would be a bit dull to have 3 similar singers as the top 3 so I can only hope that Blake makes it.

I dont think Jordin should of gone i though she was the best last night i dident get it when the judges said woman in love was pitchy through out i thought it was very good anyways im hoping that Jordin goes on to win American idol 2007

Jordin hasn't been good for a couple of week to be honest. Last weeks Bon Jovi song was a disaster. I still think Jordin is a contender to win but I think she should have gone over Lakisha.

Edit: Jordin was very pitchy in parts. It was almost like she couldn't hear the band.
