Actually one of his better performances.
Struck a good and right cord.

Went on a bit too long maybe.
Still wish he had a key to wind him up a little.

To some however, he'd be damned for saying anything but also damned had he said nothing.

That is usually right but if what's happening now is not stability, then change has to take place to bring about more or real stability.

Even recently, Liz Truss as PM created chaos.
To get even just some stability back in place change had to come about with a change of leader and policy.

SkyNewsHD AM

Kent showed a lady
works as a shop assistant,
with a leg injury
not getting enough sick pay,
Who would eat Gravy and Bread

It sounds like War Time,

Things are becoming dire for more and more arista.

Unfortunately this governnents policies are not doing anything to address the mess things really are now.
Just getting worse too.

There's no real compassion I'm afraid from the Con government.
I'm stunned they even want to have made known instances like the one you've posted.
They're only giving lip service to the serious issues.
Then again look at the nonsense Sunak throws out at PMQs to really serious matters.

Labour isn't on the fully right road they should be to address completely the chaos that's building.
At least there'd be more compassionate in the policies which coupled with action will hopefully help more.

For more and more, this cost of living crisis is becoming a living nightmare.
With now far less overall government assistance to those on low incomes, even too to those on what was thought to be better incomes.

[ANDREW NEIL: Britain could well be heading
for seismic electoral reform that'll keep
the left in power FOR EVER... And Starmer
may sign up to it without voters
even getting a say]

[You might think the British Left
would be a bit downhearted after
the local elections,
which were terrible for the Tories
but suggested Labour
would still struggle to win an
overall majority come
the General Election.
But not a bit of it.

They see the prospect of a hung Parliament
as prelude to a much bigger prize
than merely another
Labour government: the chance to install
and enshrine Left-of-centre government
for the foreseeable future — consigning
the Tories to the political wilderness for
at least a generation, perhaps for ever.]

Can all the centrists stop pretending that Corbyn supporters are Tory enablers now that Starmer has branded himself and the current Labour Party ‘the real conservatives’ like come on, the bloke is determined to destroy the party for the benefit of sealing up the right wing vote, it’s a joke

the reason that labour have moved to the middle right is because that's who the majority of people vote for. Neil Kinnock understood it but couldn't achieve it, Tony Blair did it and now Starmer will do it. The left can moan all they like, but they are simply unelectable

Yes Tubby Starmer
prefers to meet Blair
in private.

He does not want press there.

What nonsense from the Mail as usual.

IF, Labour had not an overall majority, so then formed a coalition with the LibDems who had PR as one of their policies.
The public had then been consulted.
It is Labour who should also have as a policy PR in their manifesto.
It was overwhelmingly passed at the last Labour conference.
Starmer should include it himself.

However if part of the agreement for a Labour/LibDem pairing then so be it.
The polls all indicate no love for the current first past the post discredited system.

Really the LibDems should have insisted in 2010 for PR.
No daft referendums on only AV.
They didn't get it then because they dropped their holy grail of PR policy.

This time with Labour, Labour is now a Party whose members, supporters and even the Unions want PR now.
It's something I and other members of Labour are and have been battling for now for some time.
The Party now backs it.

The leadership and Cabinet need to get on board now too.

All PR will ensure is NO Party will likely ever again get absolute power for not getting over 50% of the votes cast .
The one and ONLY party in the UK which is against PR is the Con one.
Because they believe in having absolute power only for them.
No concensus in politics.
Having absolute power to abuse it for their own ends not for the overall 4 Nations UK"s good.

I'd welcome bigtime working with the LibDems to achieve PR.
Absolutely all the way now.
