I find some of the acting a bit cheesy and hammy in FTWD, I think the acting in TWD is far superior

well, as a whole, the characters in TWD are alot better

Yeah how did they manage to ruin Nick :/. Wife has a theory that Celia (who is obviously not dead...) has been putting something in the food which has made Nick go weird, and Daniel with his hallucinations / flashbacks. Maybe even Chris, although he was already going weird before they got there, and I think we're all just hoping that Chris and Travis have wandered off into the Mexican wilderness never to be seen again .

I really hope Nick is drugged, rather than just having had his character wrecked. Meh.

I was thinking that she was drugging Daniel as well because he was acting really weird, it didn't occur to me that she was also drugging Nick though, I hope that's right. But why just those two or why if she's drugging them all is it only effecting them two?

I don't know but Strand and also Madison and Alicia have sort of been keeping themselves to themselves so maybe haven't had as much / any of the same things? Or alternatively, we know that Cecilia is interested in keeping Nick around (as another of her "sons") and she also seemed interested in converting Daniel to her way of thinking, whereas she wasn't intersted in Madison or Alicia and actively wanted Strand to be gone ASAP, so it could have been selective.

With Travis and Chris, I get the feeling that they don't want to kill them off but are responding to the viewers' reaction to them (i.e. no one likes them!) so they've sent them away, perhaps to have them return at a later date as "changed characters"...

Finally catching up on the last few eps I fell behind with, just watched the one where they get Travis and Alicia back.

I liked how they made an (I assume intentional) reference to the comics with

them sending Reed back as a zombie with a bag over his head, I read that Negan does the exact thing with an Alexandrian in the comics.

Celia's really reminding me of Hershel with her attitude towards walkers and keeping them locked up (and feeding live animals to them ), but a much darker version who casually poisons people.

She's a really interesting character, just about to watch the mid-season finale but I hope she survives.

...a good first episode....I didn't mind that it was all about Nick because he's my favourite character and it's an interesting slant that he wants to find the Walker 'spirits' and feels some kind of connection to them...and I think some of the survivors at the new camp will be interesting as well...




...ahhhhhh, zombies again, it's like coming home....I've missed those critters...
