MARK'S SPEECH

Well, firstly I would like to thank everyone who has voted me, or has voted in the show. You've all been amazing, and you've helped the show get to where it is today. Secondly, well done to everyone who took part. Whether you were first out, or 3rd, you were all amazing contestants and well done for taking part. All of you are winners.

The show for me has been a rollercoaster. I've had really good weeks, and really bad weeks. But overall I've really enjoyed it, but so glad to see it end, just cause I don't have to worry anymore. I feel as if I've really improved since week 1. Back then I had no idea what I was getting in for, let alone thinking I could ever reach the final. But, I wanna thank the show because you've helped me realise that I do have the confidence inside me to do stuff like this. I doubt I would ever have done this before, sing to people, get voted on it. It would have been so nerve-wracking for me. But everyone has made it so easy for me, thank you so much for that. It's really appreciated.

Dan, Becca you've both so good to me, and you've supported me since the start. I couldn't have asked for any better mentors. Thank you for helping me through this whole experience, and I hope someday I can return the favour.

Chris, what can I say, this show has been wonderful. As you know, there have been times where I couldn't do it anymore, but you helped me through it, told me that I can do it, and I did. So thank you for that.

Stacey, thank you for the help with the song choices last week. You really helped me through what was a tuff week for me.

And the fans of the show, the voters. Thank you for supporting me each week, and helping me get to this stage right now. I really am thankful for my place in the final, I've worked so hard for it, and to be rewarded with it, is amazing.

It's sad to see it end, but it had to end sometime. Thanks everyone who has made this show really popular and successful over these past few weeks.

ASH'S SPEECH

I was really hesitant about signing up to this competition to begin with, because singing’s always been something really personal for me and I wouldn’t say I’ve ever shared it with anyone! But then I thought, if there was one place to overcome that barrier – what better place than TiBB! Because I already had a fair few supporting friends - and I knew that generally the members would be supportive no matter what. Now I can say that I’m really glad I did join, because it’s helped me become more aware of other peoples’ voices and singing, my own limitations and abilities when it comes to singing (my normal extent has just been singing in the shower!) Generally my time in this competition has been a lot of fun, sometimes making me a bit nervous depending on the song, but really enjoyable at the same time! It’s been so much fun to have had really nice people as contestants alongside me as well, because we’ve all been in the same boat going through the exact same thing, and they’ve always dealt with everything really well. And I’ve found that inspiring!

Where do I start with my thank-yous?! Well, firstly I’d just like to thank all fellow contestants of TiBB X Factor – they’ve been such a laugh, and it’s made things just that bit easier because they’ve had to go through the same thing. Sometimes we did discuss songs together, and how to go about it, and I’ve always found it helpful! I’d also like to thank my mentors Jay and Davie – they’ve helped a lot with song choices and generally just being there if I needed to ask something. Stropz deserves a special thank-you as well for her help in the initial stages, and also for her support! A HUGE thank you to Chris for organising the whole thing and doing such an amazing job with it, not to mention being a real support to me when I’ve needed him! And last but not least, I want to thank all the TiBB members who’ve supported me as a contestant and given me their votes – I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them.
