I'm so disappointed.
The whole point of the remakes is that they remake the old games with the current gen's sensibilities. FR/LG was based on R/S, HG/SS was built upon D/P's engine and advances, and it's the same story with OR/AS which was built upon X/Y. Giving us the same game we played in 2007 with an uglier art style is just.... Ugh. It's just a step back in every way and it looks like a throwaway afterthought of a game which is insulting given that people have wanted the D/P remakes for a long time. As for the Legends game, I was so bitterly disappointed by the D/P reveal that I couldn't really force myself to care at all. It looks quite bland. |
