Yeah i have nothing against Scotland as my grandparents are scottish but why slag England off? The fact is we did better then you, and when scotland werent in the finals or whatever no one slagged them off did they?

That's good that you're proud of being Scottish and stuff. But what annoys me is that if the Scottish people really were that proud, they'd be dignified and stay silent. Instead they can be annoying and we end up in endless debates which are completely baseless really since Scotland isn't even in the picture!

Otherwise, though, good on you for being proud of Scotland!

Hopefully now you all will be so proud that you'll stop slagging off England

I'm not Scottish. There's only one nation who dislikes England more than Scotland do and I'm from there.

Yeah I lived in Scotland for 3 years so generally I like Scottish people.

Have to agree with most of what has been said in the thread so far, the ref was obviously too harsh and Ronaldo is a s.o.b, the ref was not even going to send Rooney off until that cretin got involved.I hope he leaves Manchester United so we don't have to see him and his stupid playacting on match of the day each week. Owen Hargreaves was man of the match for me today, worked his sock's off for the whole game and to think he was being slated by quite a few England fan's.

France were very good today.Zidane put in one of the great performances of the world cup so far, he is really ending his career on a high.I think if they play to that level again they will beat Portugal but Ronaldo and the returning Deco will proably dive all over the pitch and get a few France players sent off.

Let the Scottish fan's laugh now but they'll be crying into their irn bru when they lose to the part timer's from the Faroe Islands

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I have to say the last 4 are actually 4 very average teams.

Only Argentina can leave the World Cup saying they played well.

Germany, home soil has helped immensely

Italy, easy route so far and they haven't played that well. Buffon has been immense for them

Portugal, they've dived and cheated from game 1

France, poor in the group, but they have beaten Spain and Brazil

I'd say anyone that can beat Brazil, deserves to be World Champions.
