There is a having a laugh and then there is gloating on a scale that just becomes spiteful and baiting. There's nothing nice about relishing other peoples disappointment in a completely OTT way - people who supported and spend money on their fave for 5 weeks.
If John had been a great fave and someone had a thread about John's poor showing with over the top smilies and gloating, would you have liked it? You always defended him against the smallest criticism, and nothing wrong with that. But it showed you cared and therefore it would have stung if people were gloating that he didn't do well.
I had gone off Tiff but I felt the gloating was just too self indulgent and mean - spirited.

I have to agree...it was OTT. It made uncomfortable reading...school playground stuff really.

To be fair you can see when someone is reporting a post if you look at who's online.

As a completely impartial observer of this forum there has been a lot of hypocrisy this season. People accusing people of behaving in packs and it does happen but on both sides. The same posters always stick by their forum friends which is really how it should be but people calling people out for it all the time when they do it too is just odd.

People have favourites and it makes for funny reading with the levels they will go to to defend / demolish them but it does get far too personal sometimes. We are all meant to be relative grown ups

No excuse for posting rants about members, just generates a feeding frenzy as it's seen as a green light to mock said member. If he thought the thread was designed to cause friction why not just lock it? I see no need to launch into a monologue

Have to laugh really, we have a thread poking fun that Tiffany had on several occasions said that she would win .... and she came fourth. We then have a MODERATOR and lots of tiff fans getting personal and attacking other forum members ..... and they take the righteous position? Couldn't make it up.
