if 18 million people try and book an appointment in the one day, there wouldnt be many websites that would stand up to that strain. After all, Boris only announced it yesterday, they had no time to prepare

it takes between 1 and 2 weeks for the booster to provide maximum protection. My brother caught covid at the same time or near enough as he got his booster.
