Cheers Becca, pre-season is going very well so far, some of these trialists are really worth signing.

Roberts was one of the few first teamers who didn't play.

I think he's got a slight injury at the moment.Ipswich keeper had an argument with one his team mates after we scored the 3rd goal .

There do seem to be some decent trialists about at the moment, not many teams seem to be signing loads of players but just seeing how they do in trials. We've got a lad called Junior Dodson who's meant to be class, people are comparing his style to John Arne-Riise.

Oliver Allen signed a 2 year contract with Stevenage Borough yesterday afternoon, with the deal being concluded hours prior to the game against Ipswich. The 20 year old striker appeared for Barnet at the end of last season, scoring 4 times in 7 appearances, having joined them from Birmingham City where he'd spent the previous 2 years.

Manager Mark Stimson said "Olly has a lot to offer. He's bright and has an eye for goal. He's conducted himself like a model pro in the weeks he's been with us and has a fierce determination to make a career for himself in the game. The competition for places is hotting up now"

He's still good enough for the premier league in my view.He should do very well for Cardiff.

4-1 win for Stevenage today against Kettering.2 more goals for Ollie Allen with John Martin and Adam Miller also getting on the score-sheet.

I saw that he was rumoured to be going back to you. He's a good signing for you but he just needs to stay injury free for once.

No surprise that Kia is in trouble, afterall the Mascherano and Tevez deals are dodgy lol.

I suppose Babel needs time to develop but he's got the ability to adjust to the premier league, no problem with the pace of the game.Liverpool are still meant to be after Mancini from Roma, might allow one of the wingers to go to Spurs then lol.

Brazil seem to have stuck with Robinho and Vagner Love upfront, doubt they will win tonight.Sibon was always poor in England but has done well in the eredivisie.

The only thing I've heard about the u20's world cup was that a Rushden and Diamonds player started for Canada in their group games and some Portugal player went mad and smashed into someone, just as the ref was about to show him the red card, a team mate of his swiped it off the ref and ended up getting sent off himself, he then started crying!

Can this Boateng fella play on the left?
Ooooohhh Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Hope he doesn't do well Show Roy Keane up

Hopefully Tevez deal will be sorted tomorrow, it's boring now

If they sign Mancini and with Babel being there, they can sell Spurs Kewell

Brazil won 3-0 Sibon is okay for eredivisie cos level is lower

@ U'20 World Cup. 24 red cards I think in the whole tournament

Not sure which Boateng it is as there are 2 German Baoteng youngsters. One plays CM the other CB/DM so i'm sure Jol will try him on the left

Saw my first Exeter game against Port Vale

I'm not sure what was more boring, the game or the re-run of Nicky's eviction

Keane is making this management game look too easy so far lol.

The Tevez thing will probably go on until the last minute of the summer transfer window .

I've always seen Kewell going to Spurs if ever left Liverpool.

I was very surprised at Brazil winning 3-0.Alves has Copa America winner on his CV now, another half a million.

24 red cards! Indisciplined youngsters eh?

The Boateng deal is off now, must've heard he can't play centre back.

Sunderland's signings have all been overpriced Still, it's not Keane's money

Looks like Tevez is now a Man Utd player.

Well, Voronin has been Liverpool's best player in pre-season, although that is all it is. Pre-season never tells a true story. Spurs haven't got that left sided player yet Kewell is nowhere to be seen - it's not a Champions League final yet though.

Alves looked out of place for Brazil We sold our other main striker Nilsson to St Etienne today.....i'm not 100% confident on this season now

Ill discplined but the U-20 WC was a good watch. Much better than the so called stars that will be diving all over the place starting tomorrow!

Boateng has arrived. Apparently a bit of a problem lad though.

Seen a few Exeter pre-season games - i'm not quite sure what it is i've let myself in for

Couldn't believe that Craig Gordon had been sold for Ł9 million to Sunderland. Premiership clubs are paying over-the-top prices at the moment for players.

They just get held to ransom over players like Gordon but they are prepared to pay for them to keep up with the other sides.Look at Fulham, they have spent Ł20 million this summer.Mido's another one that looks like he might be another Sunderland signing.

The Tevez deal is indeed concluded, won't play for over a week though.Too many premiership clubs seem to be waiting a while to get players in, can see loads of deals going through at the end of the transfer window now.

I've been fairly surprised by Voronin really, although only pre-season he's looked sharp and he's got a very good first touch.Kewell's done fairly well too, miracle if he stays fit.

Be of a strange move for Nilsson, how much did he go for?

We didn't even have to wait until the start of the season to see some diving, Luton players were well into last weekend.

Boateng said he'd be a gangster if he weren't a footballer, deary me.

You'll end up enjoying it when the proper games get going, always a skirmish or two in conf games.
