Of the two seeds I put in wet paper towels last Friday only one was showing white inside it's shell by Monday but the ****er still hasn't come out to say hi so I done four more seeds - two of each - using a similar method and now 48 hours later about half of them are showing the white root and one is out to about half an inch. I'm hoping they are done by Friday because I'll have the house free for a week so I can leave the pots inside the window to provide a nice gentle environment to get them started in. The first little leaves should be up after that week then it's off to the great outdoors.

I have four remaining seeds from the current packets too I'm going to do the water soaking method on tommorow. Just let them soak in a cup of water for 24 hours and it does the business apparently.

This is how my friend did it and it worked (this is what you might mean you've done)
- Do the damp kitchen roll stuff untill the white shows
- I think it was like a day or 2 untill that was done. Then they planted it like you would any normal seed
- Make sure you wet the compost before sowing, rather than after as that increases the chance of germination and decreases the chance of it rotting off
- Cover with like a cm of compost (I think)
- Then cover pot/seed tray with cling film or something untill the first real leaves show. (like not the tiny two that will come as it first sprouts, the ones that come a few days later)
- Then once you've got it past that stage I guess the first tricky germinating bit is done with

Yep, you're friend is bang on. The cling film isin't entirely necessary but is worthwhile if it's in heavy sunlight because moving from a dark germination area into direct sun rays could cook the plants and shock the poor buggers to death.

I can't wait until it's done. I'll be both rich and I'll never have to pay for smoke again.

Yeah it would be pretty good, how long does it take from seed > maturity? I'm thinking about if it's worth my trying on a very small personal scale or if I'll be moving around to much over the next 6 months making it more hassle than it's worth.

Another friend of mine who lives down stairs studies some kind of chemistry and they make all of there own sorts of acids. I've never really done any chemically ones so don't know much about it, but I've been in their bathroom and it's all stained where something went wrong They made like a grands worth last summer, but didn't sell any of it, must have been a crazy few weeks.

Yeah I'm the same. I'll stop for ages that randomly start again, and then when I do decide to quit after abit I find it fine - I don't think it's my body, it's more just my mind that wants to smoke.

How many you on a day/brand btw?

And arista King Desmond would be disapointed.

They must be some skilled chemists. Acid is quite hard to make. It's crazy stuff though.

You'd be talking about 8 weeks indoors, maybe 10-11 outdoors from germination to harvest. This is autoflowers, mind you. Autoflowering varieties are the best to go for. You'll only get about an ounce off each plant because they only grow a foot high but they are very easy to do in our climate and nobody will spot them provided you're not leaving them on open roads or something like that. Although I have known of people who have managed to do everything from White Widow to Northern Lights and Church and stuff outdoors. They just take a full summer to harvest because they run on natural timespans. Autoflowers basically force themselves to bud within two months.

I'm torn between thinking it's easy and thinking it's hard. People who say the first three days are the hardest are full of ****. It's grand actually quitting them because you have momentum. It's a month later and you think of them and feel like popping over to the shop with a fiver in your hand is where I can see how it's hard.

I'm dying for one now .

Yeah, they are one of those kind of people that don't ever go lectures, hardly revise but can do anything they are that clever... what is acid like? I'm still not sure if I want to try any but they've offered lots, for some reason I'm just really conservative about trying it.

I'm really on for trying growing it, my house rent begins in a month and we have a big garden, but I guess I would have had to sow it by now to plant it out then? Also does it need rich soil and stuff outside?

Yeah I know what you mean Stu, especially a month in or something when you are a bus stop or something and someone offers... and just the smell of it, it's so easy to give in.

Arista, how do you feel seeing your suga' daddy smoking?

Arista, how do you feel seeing your suga' daddy smoking?
They can grow well into September so really you have plenty of time. You'd want to be germinating by mid July I imagine.

Acid is ... odd. Most people equate is with seeing things but you don't see all that much new stuff. It's mostly in the head. Walls kind of shimmer and surfaces ripple and stuff like that but the weirdest thing about it is the thought loops you could get into. It's very easy to go to the bathroom and not come back for 20 minutes because you got caught up in your own face in the mirror, thinking about how the way the light hits off your head is weird and how the way the light hits off your head is weird and how the way the light hits off your head is weird and how the way the light hits off your head is weird and how the way the light hits off your head is weird and how long have I been here for?

As long as your in the right place with the right people it's a great laugh. I prefer shrooms though. They always seemed less edgy to me. Shorter duration and I can sleep after them. More natural too, like.

Stirling - can't stand it.

Normally I'm B&H if I'm buying as I can never be faffed to roll when I'm in a rush somewhere.

I suppose, I'm put off of those though as sometimes you buy fags that are basically a year out and just taste stale.
