1.45m for last night. On par with last weeks Saturday rating, before anyone says "Omg, that's rubbish!" No it isn't for a Saturday. Tonight will be around 2m+ again hopefully. I still need to catch up on last night.

So far the overnight average stands at 2.3m. Around 2.6m officials that would be (and that would be on par to CBB9).

Red Or Black only grabbed 3.52m and 3.88m incl +1 against CBB. Bad for such an expensive show.

Ratings are getting increasingly worse.

we forget none hardley watches channel 5 we shouldint expect massive raitings for big brother if this was on channel 4 im sure it would be hitting atleast 3 million plus channel 5 is still a scummy channel and will allways be a scummy channel no matter how you look at it! its not big brothers fault im sure if it was on itv big brother would kill red or black. FACT

Yeah, for one of the HL shows. And that was with +1 and demand/recordings or whatever. So you can't compare until CBB10's ratings are released.

People aren't watching because it's absolute sh1te!

Every series of BB/CBB that has been on since Channel 5 got hold of it and started systematically destroying it has been absolute sh1te and i'm sure every one they do in the future (unless they have a massive re-think) will get progressively lower ratings.

BB as we knew and loved it is DEAD!!!!

It started to decline steadily when C4 had it, as expected with a show run over so many years, they just get stale. C4 needed to have a rethink, change it a bit to refresh it, or just let it lay dormant for a few years, and it might have been fine then. BB also started to interfer too much to steer nominations and eviction a certain way, especially with the side shows.

Since C5 got hold of it, their mistake has been to completely ignore what the fans want as if they deliberately want to p*ss them off, and to do away with 99% or what seems like it of live feed, and also show highly edited clips and with twitter nonsense so skewed out of context and badly written, it is ridiculous.


Their shows always seem to start off with so much promise, then they inevitably start to decline. They need to start listening to the fans of the show and start the live feed again even if it's only so many hours a day, and also let the fans suggest some of the tasks as BB allowed in BB2, and consequently that series ended up with some of the best tasks because of it, showing the fans know better what is needed to keep the show on keel, which of course they would as they are the captive audience.
