And you're delusional if you think C4 are under ANY impression that that's a realistic possibility

Everyone knows it's over for the foreseeable future

But BB's ratings didn't even go down when it clashed with The Circle?

I meant out of this series sis is it really that hard to comprehend
I meant that the quality of BB19 started out strong and then has started to go down as the week went on where as the circle started really weakly (probably why she’s flopping) and is really good now

Plus it could be argued that The Circle flopped way more than BB has this year because BB has only lost 200k of it's viewers from launch while The Circle lost 600k in the space of a night.

No rating anywhere yet but the Michael Palin documentary won the 9pm slot last night with 2.4m. The lead in won’t affect BB as I suspect the audiences would have been completely different.
Also, BB was against Celebrity Juice last night so it may well have taken a hit.

No he is not. He has done many really interesting travel programs over the years and was a core member of the Monty Python team

690 thousand according DS.
The Circle got less, 350k as far as I know.

Edit, that excludes +1

Wow The Circle is really underperforming, I thought it would have really damaged BB ratings and would have got better ratings every night.

Don't know if we will find out the +1

But if we do an average of what it has been getting at 11pm on +1, then I'd assume it would be around 730k.

Either way, it's the highest rated since Sunday (excl +1 is is 70k up on the night before) not like it makes it much better.

Huge for the Palin doc.

Guess that pretty much gives C5 the "YAY" they wanted in cancelling BB. Not good, is it? It's the highest C5 rating of the year.

It's a one-off show though, whereas Big Brother brings consistently good ratings (for C5 standard) every day for 8 weeks.

It's kinda like how Eurovision brings amazing ratings for the BBC, but it's only 3 shows every year. So it wouldn't be a consistent source of revenue in terms of adverts because of that
