Genuine question, are you actually Boris? Or Carrie? I can’t see any other reason why a single person would be so adamantly devoted to the man

It a caution and to be cautioned you have to be arrested.

A prime minister can be arrested just like anyone else

Like, the chief whip and a handful of ministers saying "you go or we go", he can just point to the door. What would happen if he simply ignored a losing No Confidence vote? Or whatever else was thrown at him?

Like what would actually happen if he kept "doing his job" despite it being taken from him?
he doesn't have a functioning government now with all the resignations. The people that resigned were more junior, but they are the ones that actually do the work. So he can't just ignore it and carry on. He wont get enough people to replace them. Also, without them, the rest of the cabinet can't operate, so they are all useless now too. It's not in Boris's hands anymore

Sorry yeah you were right he was spoken to.

Cautions normally happen after an arrest though.

I still stand to be corrected though as prime minister can get arrested

Nadhim Zahawi, who only yesterday accepted the role of chancellor after Rishi Sunak resigned, is among the delegation that is set to tell Boris Johnson to resign, the BBC understands.

---------------------------------

He has obviously realised he made a big mistake accepting the job
