It's been in the charts for 7 weeks and yet its weekly sales are still so high? Every fan must of brought like 7 copies? How is it possible to be in the top 10 for 7 weeks and then go to number 1 from Weekly sales?

Surely as Leonas song has just been realised, her weekly sales should be higher because her song is newer. But the Black Eyed peas sales is somehow higher.

Or do i just not get the charts or are the BEP's so big that they can be number 1 for an infinite amount of weeks..

I'm so puzzeled, will Leona get number 1 or the BEP's..

Leonas "Happy" has dropped sales so much.

Leona's been a bit quiet for a while, Black Eyed Peas have been everywhere and a lot of people who liked BBP and I Gotta Feeling will buy this. Leona has to work harder for people to go out and buy Happy.

Happy isn't that much of a good song as well, IMO anyway, and as much as I'm not a fan of Meet Me Halfway either, I think it's better.

Because this song is one of the best they've ever made. People can recognise talent (yes, it happens sometimes).
And well, Leona is nowhere as big as the BEP. People bought her album the first time because she was new, fresh, she had a catchy song but this time it's going to be harder. It's usually what happens with new artists from Reality-TV shows anyway.

BEP are #1 because they performed on TXF,their song is way more instant and catchier than Leona's,their song is being played on the radio every couple of minutes and the video is always on the music channels.
All Leona has at the moment to suppoert her single is an XF performance

I actrally really like "Meet me halfway" But its been in the charts and its done really well for 7 weeks, thats really good but how can it go to number 1. There weekly sales are a recurring high amount.. Leona should surely get the number 1 spot.

I think that people are sick of her singing really slow depressing songs.

Meet Me Halway is different from Boom Boom Pow and I gotta Feeling. It is instantly catchy and there is a cool ass video for it too.

Happy is a lovely song. It's just really sad and it takes a good few listens before you can get into it.

I think people have gone of Leona really bacuse she hasn't done anything to prove that she is not a one-trick pony.
And it's a recession. People don't want to be reminded of how they are not ''Happy".

The thing with Leona is they'll be going for the slow and steady approach. I can probably see Happy being quite a leggy song plus she'll end up dominating the charts next week.

She'll probably end up getting number 1 with that Outta my Head though.

I don't think so.
At that stage, she'll be competing with Rihanna, Gaga and Timbaland for number 1.

Mariah and Beyonce will have new songs out too, but Leona will do better then them.
