Is snooker a sport, or not?

Yeah I would consider it a sport....they have skill and practice as much as any other sports .......

Remember as a kid thinking it would be easy to be a snooker player

but potting is hard enough...and they dont even think about that when they play, its second nature..let alone having to think about where the white ball will land

Yeah plus the fact that they are thinking 2-3 shots ahead...it still amazes me how they can think like that...

Agree with this statement big time. Honestly don't know how they do it in Darts. I mean we've all hit big scores once in awhile, but to do it on that big stage, and perform at such a high level under that kind of pressure. Amazing.

Yeah, playing snooker is certainly not easy. A few shots after the break for me and the table is already an appalling looking mess.

Sounds good. I used to play for pub teams and that, but it was a really serious one and they got actually annoyed at you if you lost, not just banter. So like stopped all that, took the fun out of the game.
