Several housemates commented on John James's argumentative nature last night, following his exchange with David over the gruel earlier.

John James objected to the way David handed out differently sized portions of gruel to housemates, much to the surprise of the minister, who told him to "stop looking for an argument".

Shortly afterwards, the pair made up in the bedroom, with John James explaining that he is getting annoyed with "people [in the house] that avoid conflict", citing Steve as a particular example.

After their argument, David spoke to Andrew about the situation. David asked: "Do you think I got off better in the argument? He's good at arguing, he does it for a living." Andrew replied: "I agreed with you. I'm scared of arguing with John."

Meanwhile, JJ spoke to Josie about the argument. Josie told him: "He used to do it with me. Then he realised what sort of person I was. Sometimes he's just got to have a row." JJ later said: "That argument was pointless."

Later, Jo spoke to Mario and Steve about her annoyance with John James's arguments. She felt that because of her friendship with Josie, he wouldn't start one with her. She said: "I can't stand arrogance. How rude. I know I won't last with it."

She added: "He's got away with arrogance and arguments too much. He's always going in there [the Diary Room], effing and blinding about this and that. It's starting to grate on me. Arrogance and bad manners rile me up."

Funny, he cites Steve as irritating him, but the cowardly tosser hasn't got the guts to start an argument with him now, has he? He's a typical "all mouth, and no trousers" wimpy wuss.

Does John think people have nothing better to do than argue and get into conflict? Steve is a grown man why on earth would he want to sit and b!tch like an idiot over nothing?

Andrew should not be afraid to argue with John because I think he would beat John in an arguement because John argues like an idiot with no sense he needs someone to argue that won't talk a load of gobbledy gook!

Its a pity they don't tell John his arguments are pointless to his face instead of behind his back.

Jo does not know whether John goes into the DR effing and blinding as she doesn't go in there with him, so she has obviously been watching BB which she tries to say she hasn't hardly watched and is relaying things that the hms didn't know about regarding hms private chats in the DR to other hms.

She needs to leave the arguments to people that are having them and butt out or she will find her self having one huge row in there. if she has a problem with Johns behaviour instead of ducking and diving and getting worked up why doesn't she tell him to his face.

They are all cowards. Josie at one point did tell John but now she is loved up lets him get away with things as long as its not her he is having a go at. She also said she doesn't like Arrogant argumentative people referring to Sam. Jeeze she is with the worst person for that behaviour in there for heavens sakes!
