I remember this was bought up a while ago but I can't find the thread now and was wondering whether the idea was ever bought up in TiBB Towers and what was said about it.

Basically, it sort of works like the karma system, but instead of +1ing a member, you just +1 (or -1, if you wish) their post. It would be an easier way to show you agree, or disagree, with members and it would cut down on the spam-like '[2]' 'This' or '' posts (All of which I'm guilty of)

What do you think?

Hmm actually the simple solution to the problem I pointed out would be just to install a "+1" system and no option to "-1" other posts.

I thought there would only be a +1 feature anyway, mainly for kickass comments and you wont have 30 pages of people replying with "" as Boothy mentioned

Probably why FB doesn't have Dislike and Google+ doesn't have -1 (as far as I know ), to avoid the abuse of it

I think the novelty of +1ing all of your friends would wear off after about a week though, but I agree you'd see a lot of Ranch / MTM posts with 14 points for that week
