However the meaning of life, on Earth at least, is to find out the question (to which the answer is 42) since the Earth is really only a computer. The poor mice (really pan-dimensional beings) never found the question though cos the Earth was destroyed to make way for a hyper-space bypass.

But seriously, by asking the question "What is the meaning of life", then one has to accept that there is a higher being who had a purpose in creating humans. Otherwise, if you believe that life developed on Earth through the Big Bang and that we all evolved from lower life forms into our current existence, then basically life was a fluke and has no meaning!
