I'm sure you all noticed that Mike is COMPLETELY different on CBB to how he is on Jersey Shore - where he instigates arguments and causes tons of drama. On CBB he is portrayed as the thoughtful, emotional guy.

Do you think he's playing a game or is this the real Mike?

A mix of both. Since he has stopped spending so much time with Danica he has definitely started to show more elements of how he is on Jersey Shore, but he's still a lot different. Rehab probably just changed him, everytime they were out clubbing on JS he was probably drugged up.

He's the sober Situation I suppose. Rehab obviously changed him a fair bit. He's alot more entertaining on J.S, but it's also nice to see that he's done good for himself.

I like him more as a person on BB but more as a character on JS.

On JS he was horrible, I couldn't stand him, but if I got paid what he does I would be horrible too. I do like him on CBB

I agree this is probably the reason he seems different. They drink A LOT on Jersey Shore and most of the fights happen when they are drunk.

Also MIke's usually stirring things up from behind the scenes, remember Mike wasn't that bad the first few season's on Jersey Shore, it's only when the other housemates saw what he was saying behind their backs and all the gossiping he does that they started to hate him. So maybe he's learned his lesson on that now that it bit him in the butt.

Last point, would be that he knows that it's the viewers who vote people off on Big Brother, so he's also probably being nicer just so he doesn't piss off the viewers, he can't be voted off Jersey Shore.

OT is a reality TV actor he knows how it all works so I doubt anyone knows the "real" Mike at all apart from his friends and family imo.

I think its very difficult to compare his behaviour in the two shows, as the Jersey Shore like our own version Geordie Shore is set in normal environment with a small film crew probably using hand held cameras. Also there is an degree of scripting so the end result to a certain extent is pre determined. His character probably has a lot more freedom and he probably has some input into the scripts he uses.

but on CBB it totally unscripted and very very claustraphobic in that small house. The emotional,physical, and psychological demands of being in there 24/7 are bound to have an impact on your normal behaviour.
