Destiny's Child have announced a new album.

The girl group will release Love Songs on January 28 in the UK and a day later in the US.



"I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny's Child music in eight years," Beyoncé stated on her official Facebook page with the accompanying artwork.

The album will feature a collection of the group's greatest romantic hits, as well as a completely new track titled 'Nuclear'.

It serves as the follow-up to Destiny's Child's 2004 album Destiny Fulfilled, which peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 and five in the UK.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé is currently preparing to release her fifth solo studio album this spring, as well as headline the Super Bowl halftime show on February 4.

It is heavily rumoured that fellow Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams could join the star during her set.

Why on earth would they release an entirely new album whilst Beyonce is releasing her 5th studio album

I get that, but I mean they should have just waited and done it properly in a year or so's time when she's done with album 5.
Or they could have pushed back Bey's and given this a few new tracks and a tour to go with it.

Matthew Knowles probably just did this because it's an easy way to put Beyonce back in the limelight

but you never know they could release an entirely new album soon
