I think Dan is on to something. She may not be an actress as we know them, but she is certainly 'putting on an act'. I think it is probably her very deluded and inaccurate portrayal of a shaman that has made him suspicious. I'm sure he talks about plenty of other stuff but that is the story line that is attached to him now by the BB edits. Just like they show Dexter talking mainly about sex or money or Wolfy talking to animals or meditating. It's all in the edits which are very limited on imagination and variety.
For example, I've heard many of the HM's say Dan is great fun, but it rarely shows him actually having any.
