You guys can watch the housemates live, nightly from tomorrow night between 11:30pm and 2:00am on www.channel5.com, on the Big Brother iPhone and iPad app and on the Big Brother Facebook app. Live streaming will commence at midnight during evenings when Big Brother’s Bit On The Side is simulcast at 11:00pm.

Last nights LF proved why the slot is great. Whilst mine was on (I couldn't get back on the LF when I clicked off of the page), everybody was drinking and being a bit brash with eachother. Great time to have it.

The issue is promotion really. It's a headline on DS which could help, but it needs to be advertised at the end of each show for a while to get it going.

Not really. If people are laying in bed with their phone or tablet, it's far easier to open the app and go from there.

Don't think viewership is as important when its just online is it?

Its good because newspapers can generate stories from watching it and giving exclusives rather then just rehashing the previous nights episodes which in itself is promotion.

When live feed was on 5* the BB fan sites were fall of stories.

They just need to plug it on eviction now and make it exciting.

Emma needs to make an announcement on the main show and it needs to be mentioned daily on BOTS and after every highlight show.

Hopefully with tomorrows eviction being so big people will tune in in their droves to see the fall out.

Well with online, they will be able to tell exactly the amount who are viewing, and it should be higher than the amount who watched the 5* LF. But as you said, an announcement needs to be made, at least at some point on BOTS tonight!

Has anyone got the link to the Live Feed? Or was it just shown on the Big Brother website homepage last night?

I want to keep my eye on it in case they "test" it again tonight. I also saw some people were streaming it via VLC player?

I'm concerned the time will be a big issue. I hope they aren't expecting viewing figures similar to the television ones on 5*. Saying that, with schools off soon they may benefit from it.

Some live feed is better than none though! I just really hope they advertise it, especially on BOTS (although Rylan's comments seem to suggest they couldn't care less on that show). Advertising will be key for this, especially on social networking!
