So no re-opening of the lines when down to the last 2 ?

Most likely what you said, though from memory the lines usually reopen for a couple of minutes during each finalists interview too then freeze just before the end of it. They then take a break to add them all up and announce the next finalist after it.

They'd be foolish not to reopen the lines whilst the dome is on. Dexter vs Sam votes would probably double their profit for the night.

Second show is being recorded so lines have to close while the first one is on.

Maybe, though they couldn't have them open for very long because the second show won't be live as the crowd needs to be gone by 11pm. Perhaps they'll be open for 15 minutes or so.

Because they're Arseholes and they'll probably keep up the pretence that it's "LIVE". When the winner is leaked I won't even bother to watch the second one.
