Kenzie’s manager later shared a longer message with fans, and told supporters he will have more news of the singer’s condition by Wednesday. The update read:

“Kenzie (5th Story) was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday 4th May and is currently recovering from injuries sustained in that accident. We’d like to thank all those who have sent messages of support at this time and an update on his condition will be given in the next 48 hours.”
