Jal - Interesting and intellectual. Her conversations with housemates leave me wanting more. It's like she is their therapist. Not to be mistaken as the mother of the house. She is the Aunty you would go to if you did something real bad. She has some flaws ready to be exposed I feel.

Marlon - A sweet gentleman. He has come across really well and I'm starting to like him with each episode.

Kimberley - Just like Marlon, she is a harmless little soul. But, very smart and knows what to say and when not to say it. Love how she was the one who was acting like a drunken mess.

Toya - Her head is screwed on to ha weave and she is ready to face what ever bitch chooses to call her on.

Ash - Decent guy, seems down to earth from what we have seen. Will be hated by mostly males I would think...

Ash Not sure about him, he seems a bit slow moving for the pace of the show at the moment. He also doesn't seem the type to get too involved in arguments or taking sides, because of that I can see him going far. I reckon he'll spend more time sunbathing than anyone else.

Ashleigh She has an amazing accent, sadly she's only said about five sentences since entering the house. But the way this house is shaping up, there is a kinda volatile, powder keg type of atmosphere, all it will take is a spark for things to explode. So I think she's well placed to avoid the oncoming drama and later in the show she'll seem like a refreshing new housemate.

Chris He is a nice guy, well from what we've seen, there's no doubt about that. He has the potential to be part of a powerful group of outsiders in there. Also I don't think he plays the victim, in a way Pauline singling him out made him one.

Christopher I like him a lot, he is articulate and observant. He could be a surprise winner.

Danielle So far she has shown a knack (Dexter had it last series)of being able to manufacture a storyline centered around you even when not much is happening in the house. And at the moment she's coming across pretty well, as the other competing storyline seems to be who in Pauline's Pack can say the most spiteful remark about Chris.

Helen Seems like she will be a great laugh and up for anything in the house. However there is a very cruel side to her, I kinda hope that she doesn't become a public hate figure because of the show. I guess she's the leader of Pauline's Pack, maybe I should have named it Helen's Horde, anyway too late now.

Jale I don't know if she would be any different to Pauline if she had power. She does talk like she's going to be a great housemate but at the moment all it has been is talk.

Kimberly I like Kimberly, she seems to have well thought out opinions, one of the best in there at forming bond with others. Very socially aware.

Mark He's a dick.

Marlon He's fun, doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body. I look forward to seeing this alter ego of his. That is if there is any real difference in him, maybe it's just him with a more confident mindset or something.

Matthew I feel that he has a bitchy side that could rival Helen's or Mark's. Seems like a more broodier version of Christopher.

Pauline Wow, how the mighty have fallen. I feel that she is on the verge of being hated by the public. Having power in there was always gonna be a poisoned chalice. BB wants to make the show dramatic and just as Chris is her first real victim, she in a way has been BB's first victim. Can't see her lasting long.

Steven I get the impression he is a bit of a braggart. Still I would much rather listen to Kimberly & him chat in the smoking area than watch Tamara & Winston playing footsie in the bath.

Tamara At first I thought I wouldn't like her, then started to believe that she was really nice, now I'm unsure. If she stays with Helen I think her chances in there will be ruined.

Toya Loved her DR chat, she's been one of the stars so far. Hope she makes the final.

First impression: doesn't seem like he offers much
End of week 2: still doesn't offer much, either going to continue to fall into background or be a douche

End of week 2: barely seen anything, but seems uncomfortable and does too much flitting about

First impression: I only started watching because he was in it, so was biased towards him being my favourite.
End of week 2: Genuine, nice, funny, doesn't really have anything in common with the personality types in the house and is quite similar to myself, so easy to relate to. Thought he dealt with the power brilliantly.

First impression: seems ok
End of week 2: I like him more as it goes on. He's awkward, but I like awkward.

Danielle
First impression: kept bringing up 'oh I'm a good Christian girl and hate sex talk', trying too hard to stand out. Was my least favourite
End of week 2: now that she's stopped that, she's had some amusing moments but I think she's holding back too much

First impression: seemed like she'd be nice. Was happy with Pauline choosing her to get the pass
End of week 2: she's an awful person, picking on 'weaker' people and has her head so far up in the clouds she doesn't even care. Has no personality and the only way she can get attention is by shouting or bitching.

End of week 2: I like her and she has her moments. I think she has a strong character for the most part but isn't as solid as she thinks she is.

First impression: quiet, but seems like she'll be the voice of reason
End of week 2: liking her less as the show goes on. Personality and charisma of a cardboard box. No sense of humour, and she's doing some weird things to get screen time. But everything she does and the way she talks is so boring.

First impression: seems like he'll be funny, don't like the way he's latched on to Pauline
End of week 2: Not sure if him pulling away from Pauline's grasp was strategic or personal, and he still flits around a bit, but he is funny. If he was less gossipy, then I'd probably like him more (though I do like him)

First impression: none
End of week 2: still barely know who he is. He's barely done anything, couldn't care less.

First impression: could be a bit of a douche, but I like him for some reason
End of week 2: he hasn't had the chance to do much, but he seems to be funny and I still just automatically like him. I'm not sure why.

End of week 2: still a douche. There were a few days where he seemed ok, but his reaction to his nomination and the way he speaks to Kim has turned him into a joke. Offers nothing, I can't stand listening to him and he's so smarmy.

This show is existing somewhere in between Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother. They are not well known people but they are all actors, presenters, models, journalists, friends of Big Brother employees and media types. It now exists in its own self serving, self referencing media bubble. The only thing us plebs are needed for now is to keep the viewing figures up. Most ex fans of the show that I talk to, they all say the same thing. The housemates are not ordinary members of the public, they are no longer cut off from the outside world.
