Big Brother Danielle’s homophobic tweets cause storm

In a message she wrote under her @CLASSICFOX handle on the social networking website on February 11th 2013, the 25-year-old claimed a man was a ‘poof’ and said he should be shot for using the word ‘lush’.

“Just seen a supposed guy use the word lush…. Shoot him, shoot him now How utterly cringe and vile #manup #****,” she tweeted.

Danielle went on a similar tirade on March 10th 2013, writing: “Men should be men not use the same sayings and do the same things as girls #**** #stepouttheclosetufreak”

She added on March 17th: “Urgh some people are so cringe Thank god they are out my life #**** #manupyoucreep”

The tweets have sparked controversy since they were discovered earlier this week, with offended fans questioning why she was chosen for Big Brother and calling on producers to take action.

When approached by gay news website PinkNews, a C5 spokesperson declined to comment other than to say that Danielle will not be ejected from the house.

However, the broadcaster has confirmed that the @CLASSICFOX page belongs to Danielle by including a link to it in her profile on the show’s official website.

Danielle’s views have already caused a stir, with the Catholic insisting she’s not homophobic – even though she opposes same-sex marriage. She has also complained about the housemates’ sex talk despite her career as a glamour model, which has seen her give raunchy interviews to lads’ mags.

Last night viewers saw her spark a major argument by implying that the other female housemates are ‘slags’.
