Anyone know?
![]() I was thinking around 250,000 based on ratings and comparing with previous series. Higher, lower, higher, lower? ![]()

A lot lower. Probably about 1 in ten viewers actually vote (except for the final) if that

Of course some people vote multiple times.
The number of people who actually vote probably doesn't reach 6 figures. |

He admits that the amount punted on evictee 's is limited due to the fact that a few years ago, they got stung by a big punt on someone backed up with a load of votes to evict. The bookies much prefer VTS as its harder to get a betting result scam over. |

People assume BB in early years was HUGE in terms of voting, it never really was, and neither was IAC or most other shows. Voting numbers have always been far lower than half of the audience. However for X Factor and Pop Idol... X Factor getting 8m votes during a series which averaged around 10m and Pop Idol which got 10.2m votes in the FINAL NIGHT ALONE in a series which was averaging around 9m. Pop Idol in retrospect was an absoloute monster considering the fact that they received MORE votes than viewers which meant individuals were voting many more times each.
For evictions? Lets predict, judging by these... BB5 Vanessa vs Dan (which lasted for almost 2 weeks due to Fight Night)got 800,000. Ahmed's eviction got around 1.2m for the 3 days, and Michelle's eviction got 2m+ and that was seen as massive! BB9 was higher than BB8 voting number wise despite BB9 getting lower ratings, and BB12 did very well considering the ratings being low (but that may be because of the Facebook votes), I heard per week BB12 was getting around 150,000 votes. However BB13 was getting under 80,000 a week and BB14 around the same. I would predict, 60,000 at most nowadays to be fair. |

How times have changed
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertain...io/2154496.stm I been watching BB1 again and Davina says the evictions were getting over a million votes a time.

![]() 8.5 million? I thought Nadia's 5.3 million was good but that's so much more better! EDIT: Kate only got 3.1 million votes to win, Nadia got 5.3 million votes to win.

Sadly its all about money these days. The money gained is reflected in the wages paid and when you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. The BB format is being changed to get the Jeremy Kyle type of viewers due to the fact that regular BB supporters are getting bored of the constant meddling and bad task formats being force fed us and are switching of in droves.
