What homophobia are we talking about - the bending over joke by James in front of Leslie? or Gary's vulgar continuation of it ? - either could be construed as homophobic. gary was clearly at fault here in my opinion; homophobia or signs of are taken seriously nowadays and I think james was right to call him out on it because whether he's homophobic or not, his comment could have come across offensively so it was a future warning for him.

I don't think it was meant to be an offensive comment either but the fact is that it has offended some people and I can see why despite not being personally offended. I think it was more to do with gary's choice of words; james did nothing wrong here.

James totally over reacted, Gary asked him if he was gay? All he had to say was no im not, instead of going into some kind of rant about it. yes after that I think Gary said the but finger joke or whatever he said, and it was kind incomfortable but then james just made it worse and looked like a bloody idiot tbh. What made me lol was ricci in the background oblivious to it all checking himself out in the mirror.
