Stand down, people – X Factor rejects Stevi Ritchie and Chloe Jasmine will NOT be appearing in the upcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother.

According to BBBOTS host Rylan Clark, Big Brother producers aren’t planning to recycle any of this year’s cast-offs UNLESS they need an emergency ‘back-up’.

He told us: ‘I think it’s safe to say their probably won’t be anyone from X Factor in January BUT anything can change. If anything goes wrong with the line-up that we’ve looked at we’ve always got our back-up plans. That’s not to say they’re only a back-up. In every single series there’s probably 100 back-up people.’

And while I’m A Celeb producers desperately searching for a bit of eye candy pounced on Jake Quickenden, Ry says CBB producers are looking for much much more in a housemate.

Rylan continued: ‘A lot of people want to do the show and a lot of people want to be a part of it and we don’t chose people because we like them, we chose a really good mix of people for the ideas we have for the series.

‘You can have the strongest line-up but when they’re all put in a house together they can be the most boring people in the world. Casting is the main thing when it comes to Celebrity Big Brother,’ he added.

Rejects yes.
But I wouldn't call them talentless. What most people forget is even though they may of finished 10th in X Factor, it does require a hell of a lot of good singing in order to make it through auditions and all those other processes.

A talentless X Factor contestant in my opinion, would be one that didn't even get past the auditions.

Chloe and Stevi would get boring after awhile anyway, I think that it's wise not to go for them if Rylan is telling the truth.
