I think she was just trying to stop Perez in general. Glad she, Michelle and Calum spoke up.

Even if Ken does come out with some shockers he doesn't need to be berated like Perez and Nadia were all for. Chloe handled it herself and very maturely, she could teach the two of the attention seeking twats a thing ot two.

I think it's the simple fact that she likes Ken and everything Perez does annoys her so she felt was an opportunity to step in to defend Ken since everybody else was either against him or keeping quiet.
