Default Leona given extra recording studio time

Quote:
X Factor favourite Leona Lewis was allowed three trips to the recording studio to make her version of the winner's single sound perfect.

The singer spent ten hours over two weeks recording Kelly Clarkson's A Moment Like This, while Ben Mills - who was eliminated from the competition last night - was given just one four-hour visit.

A source told The People: "Each contestant should have been given the same amount of time but clearly they haven't. Despite getting it right the first time, Ben would have loved to come back to perfect it even more."

18-year-old Ray Quinn, who is now Leona's rival for the winner's title, was also allowed a second session at the recording studio.

Firstly, you can't always trust such stories.
Secondly, perhaps Ray and Leona just needed extra time to perfect their recording, or it didn't go right the first time. Whilst Ben perhaps couldn't do any more to get the song flawless.
People are always going to make things harder for these X Factor contestants, especially as the final draws near. But I don't see this as a big deal; I haven't seen some previous stories as big deals either. If it were Ray and Ben who had got extra time whilst Leona hadn't I can honestly say I wouldn't have minded; it obviously just means they all got the time that they needed to get their song right!

I think it shows how unfair the show is...so much for equal standings. Just shows Ben is the true winner and is better fitted to recording and learning. Considering Leona has already got an album and has done many recording sessions before it shows that she isn't as perfect as Simon makes out.

Nobody's perfect. Leona's just mega-talented, it may be that she has to work on it a bit, but that makes no difference since the outcome's mind-blowing and that's what counts.
