Default Was the eye just leaked?
On Twitter just now some account who had just joined posted a picture of a BB eye saying introducing the BBUK 2015 eye, it was all red/black with spikes and stripes I think and looked very evil. The user was deleted after 10 mins, it looked quite professional but I dont know.

it was ok, very ugly at first! I think it would be one of the eyes that grows on you, hope its not real though

No. It was actually awful. And it doesn't look like an eye. It looks like fricken clip art that some 5 year old would use in primary school.
