Anyone else a bit surprised that Joel nominated Nick? I know his reason was that he felt it would be unfair to nominate Jade and not Nick but really? they are supposed to be close friends.

I'm not sure I like Joel, he seems to be pretty ruthless when it comes to playing this BB game. I was sure he wouldn't nom Nick after the talk they had, when Joel said everything was fine between them.

I think once he had said Jade, with the reason of her talking about noms, then he would have looked bad not including Nick too afterwards. I understood his reasoning, he likely does see Nick as a threat too so on BB you need to be ruthless at times. This way he will find out how popular Nick is too, (as well as himself too ironically). |

I understand and respect his reason for nominating Nick, I just don't know if I would've done it personally.

He came across as fair and backed up his reasoning very well.

I am really going off him and I used to like him but if the reasons housemates were nominating people were for rulebreaking then Jade and Nick BOTH had to be put up. I felt that in the aftermath of the rulebreak Nick got off very lightly when it came to the housemates anger

Others who nommed Jade but didn't nom Nick are clearly voting tactically. Jack and twins DID blame Jade for noms but didn't feel the need to blame Nick. Interestingly Danny, Harriet, Eileen, Christian all nommed Jade too. But didn't use her breaking rules as their reason. I wonder why ! I find Joel dull as dishwater but much credit to him here. |

I didn't get why nominated him either, they seem to be close friends in there, I found it a bit odd .....tbh

Credit to Nick for not taking the huff just cos Joel wasn't blindly fighting his corner. Nick can hardly preach about loyalty after pulling back from Jade anyway. Even if he could, who would follow Nick anyway ? He's got very little influence in there. Don't see why Nick and Joel can't continue to be friends. |

I thought he was very fair, like he said you cannot nominate one person for doing something two people did

I thought he was right. It would be unfair to nominate just one when both are guilty. If he had thought of something else to nominate Jade for, then he could have got away with not nominating Nick.
