I have watched BB for 9 years and know the basics of 'Playing the game'.
The housemates always say this every year but they never go into detail. Is it tactics like: Trying to be liked by everyone so you don't get nominated? Trying to manipulate other housemates against each other? having a showmance? Trying to play up to the camera's to get as much air time as possible? Give me more examples ... It's an awful BBUK cliche that people throw out as excuses to nominate people (see: sitting on the fence, their mask has slipped, etc.), and generally the people accusing others of playing the game are the biggest gameplayers themselves

Apparently in BBUSA gameplay is actively encouraged but in the UK everyone has to disguise that they may want to win the game show that they're on
