He was wining before I was born but having watched a good number of his old matches he was a real talent and the greatest ting about him is the sort of Ambassador he has been for the game of Snooker.
Really decent and good guy.

they used to play with heavy ivory balls where the whole game was way harder as you couldn't move the balls so easily , it was a much harder game to play, with those old balls davis still made maximum breaks and would have tortured every modern player with his tactical play
