Teddy Sheringham: 'Dani IS dumped'

Football ace Teddy Sheringham confirmed he HAS split from shamed Big Brother beauty Danielle Lloyd.

The 40-year-old West Ham striker, who has been dating the Liverpudlian model since the Miss Great Britain competition last year, told our sister paper London Lite exclusively: "I am no longer with anyone."

Enjoying a night out at Mayfair's Funky Buddha nightclub following his team's 2-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool, the father-of-one was happy to put the record straight about his 23-year-old former girlfriend.

Denying any rumour that he was to reveal all to a glossy mag, he said: "I am not with her tonight and who is to say I will ever be with her again?

"People keep asking if we are engaged yet but I can say I am not with anyone, I wish people would believe it.

"People don't believe me but I guess they will have to read what she has to say in the papers from now on."

Meanwhile, a few miles away at the Big Brother wrap party at the Bloomsbury Ballroom, Danielle appeared thoroughly dejected.

She arrived with her mum looking vulnerable and glum, and seemed to fear for her safety as she arrived with a burly minder for protection. He had a more practical use at the end of the night, however, as he helped her out of the club when she was a little worse for wear.

Teddy, who was two weeks ago suspected of dumping Dani following her shameful bullying of Shilpa Shetty, proved he was over her by splashing out £198-a-go rounds of shots to a gang of blondes who had befriended him and his pals.

An onlooker said: "He was trying to hide the girls at first but after a few Tiger beers he was flirting like an 18-year-old. He was buying rounds of shots for the girls and seemed like he was having a great time.

"There was one brunette in particular who he was quite attracted to. As he ordered drinks he was nibbling her neck and didn't look like he had anything at all to hide."

At the end of the night, Teddy left the club and appeared to be following the brunette, who tried to hide her face from the cameras with her coat.

Looks like Danielle has paid the ultimate price for her behaviour in the BB house.

This is confusing, I'm not sure which story's true.

But either way, I'd be in no major shock if they have split - or if they do anytime soon, IMO they don't seem the most compatible of couples. And of course Danielle's actions in the house only adds to the doubt so I wouldn't be surprised if things had turned out rocky afterwards as a result!
