I'm asking this because she's from around 6% on TIBB's profile count to now 16% within a day.

My question on that is Jayne growing in popularity due to her riveting entertainment and borderline obsession with cleaning, or because Chelsea's being horrible to her?

Yes this is a good point. Its not a pity vote or anything, its more about how she handled it rather than as she is 'being picked on'

I've yet to see a criticism of her that isn't based on:

a) Her past flings with footballers
b) Her voice (which is a childish objection to have unless she's saying awful things with it, like Marco)
and c) Her appearance (which is even more childish)

I know I overrate a housemate every series but that's merely because I've identified them as having almost no chance of winning with the stupid public, despite being just as entertaining, down to earth and fun to watch as those that are favourites (if not more so... eh Alex...)

She's had numerous arguments so that ticks off the "what passes as entertainment with the Jack_ vote" (sorry but I can't think of a better name for it Jack ), her diary room rants have been amusing (and if you think Nikki Grahame has the license to "diary room rant" then you're placing an awful lot of stock in her worth and that's your problem), she's been largely on the right side of said arguments (wanting a clean house, thinking Natalie is a bitch, thinking Chelsea talks out of his arse, not being A ****IN' RACIST, etc), and when not being attacked she's generally pleasant and funny?

But idk she's screwed because she's a latecomer so whatever.

But if I had to choose between her & Chelsea I would choose her.
Chelsea has been so vile & said such nasty things about her. He is trying to get the entire house to turn against her.

She is not the best or the worst in the house, but I have always liked her and found her behaviour amusing- yesterday didn't change my opinion of her in any way.

However, I think people who liked her might well feel the need to either indicate or increase their support if they feel she is being attacked or badly treated. That could be part of the reason for the 10% increase you've identified.
